Hi! I’m Mercedes, although pretty much everyone calls me Sadie. Photography has mostly started as a hobby and creative outlet for me, I’ve always loved capturing people in a way that helps them feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident. I’d describe my style as romantic, candid, and documentary inspired, with a big focus on helping people feel relaxed in front of the camera because I know how awkward it can feel sometimes. I’ve definitely been the person who forgets how to stand the second a camera is pointed at me more than once.
Before this, I spent most of my working years as a kindergarten teacher. After having my son, I decided I wanted to stay home with him as much as possible, so now I work weekends as a hostess at a restaurant/bar while growing Olea & Film along the way.
